Man jailed for life for murder of girlfriend - Luton


A man convicted of murdering his girlfriend, Shobhna Jethwa, has today, Monday, 04 February 2013, been sentenced at St Albans Crown Court to life imprisonment and is to serve a minimum of 15 years.

Sultan Khan, 51, of Durbar Road, Luton, was found guilty at St Albans Crown Court on Thursday, 31 January 2013, of stabbing Shobhna Jethwa, 46, of Butely Road, Luton, to death at her home last September.  She was found by two of her three children when they arrived home from school.
