Man jailed for drug offence - Aylesbury

A 51-year-old man has been jailed for 20 months after being found with drugs with an estimated street value of £100,000.
Melvin Fenton from Montague Road, Aylesbury, pleaded guilty at Aylesbury Crown Court yesterday, Monday, 25 February 2013, to possession of a class B drug with intent to supply.
On 19 October 2012, at 9.40am police officers attended Fenton's home address and executed a warrant under the Misuse of drugs act.
During a search of the property a total of nearly 5kgs of Methylmethcathinone also known as Mephedrone, a class B controlled drug, were found. Some of the drugs were hidden in empty dog food boxes.
