Man charged in connection with pig head incident - Newbury

Thames and Chiltern Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has authorised officers from Thames Valley Police to charge a 21-year-old man from Thatcham with racially aggravated harassment, and a section 4 public order offence in connection with an incident in Newbury.

The man has been charged in connection with an incident where a pig's head was discovered outside a mosque in Pound Street, Newbury, on 23 October 2012.

The man has been bailed to appear at Reading Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 19 December 2012.
