Justin Lee Collins to stand trial for causing fear of violence

Justin Lee COLLINS will stand trial before a judge and jury accused of harassing his former girlfriend.

Collins, 37, denied causing Anna Larke fear of violence between 11 January and 11 July last year.

On Friday, 17 February 2012, the comedian made a brief appearance at St Albans Magistrates' Court, where his case was committed to St Albans Crown Court.

A date was fixed for a plea and case management hearing on 26 March 2012.

The comedian, who comes from Bristol but now lives in London, was bailed with conditions that he does not contact Ms Larke or her relatives.
