Further man charged with sexual offences - Aylesbury

Thames and Chiltern Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has authorised officers from Thames Valley Police to charge another man with sexual offences including rape.

The man was charged on Friday, 12 September 2014, after a series of warrants were executed in Aylesbury, Milton Keynes, Buckingham, Chesham and Middlesex on Tuesday, 02 September 2014.  Details of the man and his charges are as follows:

Mohammed Imran, aged 37, of Springcliffe Street in Bradford, was charged with two charges of conspiracy to rape a girl under 16 years of age, three charges of raping a girl aged under 16, and arranging /facilitating the prostitution/involvement in pornography of a child aged 13-17 years.

Adrian Foster, Chief Crown Prosecutor for Thames and Chiltern Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said: "Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police, a file was forwarded to us to consider whether any criminal charges could be brought against Mohammed Imran.

"Having carefully reviewed all of the available evidence, Thames and Chiltern CPS authorised officers from Thames Valley Police to charge the man with six sexual offences including rape.

"The charges follow a series of warrants, which were executed in Aylesbury, Milton Keynes, Buckingham, Chesham and Middlesex on Tuesday, 02 September 2014.

"The decision to charge was taken in accordance with the Code for Crown Prosecutors."

Imran was remanded in police custody to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates' Court on Saturday, 13 September 2014.  He will next appear at Aylesbury Crown Court for a preliminary hearing tomorrow, Tuesday, 16 September 2014.
