Four charged in connection with death of Sean Cleathero - High Wycombe

Thames and Chiltern Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has authorised officers from Thames Valley Police to charge four people in connection with the death of 28-year-old Sean Cleathero.

Mr Cleathero, from High Wycombe, died in hospital on 17 October 2012, after taking a substance called DNP.

The following people were charged yesterday, Thursday, 12 September 2013:

  • Peter Purkins, aged 46, of Heather Walk, Hazlemere, has been charged with manslaughter, conspiracy to produce a class C drug (anabolic steroids), and conspiracy to supply a class C drug.
  • Jamie Chivers, aged 43, of Spring Gardens Road, High Wycombe, has been charged with manslaughter, conspiracy to produce a class C drug, conspiracy to supply a class C drug, and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
  • Jason King, aged 41, of Hazell Road, Prestwood, Great Missenden, has been charged with manslaughter, conspiracy to produce a class C drug, and conspiracy to supply a class C drug.
  • Laura Hague, aged 22, of Orchard Grove, Chalfont St Peter, has been charged with conspiracy to produce a class C drug, conspiracy to supply a class C drug, and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

They have all been bailed to appear at Wycombe Magistrates' Court on Friday, 27 September 2013.
