Former police officer charged - Milton Keynes


Thames and Chiltern Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has authorised officers from Thames Valley Police to charge a former police officer with misconduct in public office.

Martin McElvenna, aged 54, has been charged with two charges of misconduct in public office.

The charges relate to the alleged inappropriate use of the Police National Computer (PNC) for non-policing purposes.

McElvenna,  who served as a Police Constable in Milton Keynes,  was dismissed by the Force on 05 November following a misconduct hearing.

McElvenna has been released on bail to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Monday, 18 November 2013.
