Footballer committed to Crown Court for New Year attack - St Albans

Millwall striker Darius Henderson has been committed to crown court accused of breaking a man's jaw early on New Year's Day.

Henderson, 30, is accused of hitting a 41-year-old man at Darcy's restaurant in St Albans, Herts.

The footballer, who lives in Markyate, Herts, made a brief appearance at Central Herts Magistrates' Court on Friday, 11 May 2012, where his case was committed to St Albans Crown Court for a plea hearing on 11 June 2012.
