Drug dealer jailed - Reading

A man appeared at Reading Crown Court on Friday, 16 May 2014, and was sentenced to seven and a half years imprisonment and had to forfeit more than £100, 000 after being convicted of drugs supply offences.

Bisharet Hussain, aged 45, of Florence Walk, Reading, was jailed after pleading guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A - cocaine, two counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A - heroin, two counts of acquiring/using or possessing criminal property, and one count of transferring criminal property.

During a warrant executed at Hussain's home address on 04 June 2013, under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, drugs, 30 mobile phones, and a quantity of cash were seized.

The court ordered Hussain to forfeit £105,514.50 and an additional 200 Rupees.
