Thomas Haigh found guilty of Cornish double murder


Thomas Alexander Haigh was today found guilty of the murders of Brett Flournoy and David Griffiths by a jury at Truro Crown Court.

The jury found co-defendant Ross Stone not guilty. Stone pleaded guilty to preventing lawful and decent burial of a dead body at an earlier hearing.

The case was handled by the CPS South West Complex Casework Unit, who worked with Devon and Cornwall Constabulary throughout the investigation.

Both defendants will be sentenced tomorrow at Truro Crown Court
