Glastonbury man charged with murder

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has today authorised Avon and Somerset police to charge a man with the murder of Lisa Winn.

Rachael Scott, head of the CPS South West Complex Casework Unit said: "Having carefully considered the evidence presented to me by Avon and Somerset police in line with the Code for Crown Prosecutors, I have today decided that there is sufficient evidence, and that it is in the public interest, to charge Neil Winn with the murder of Lisa Winn.

"Proceedings are now ongoing and the defendant has the right to a fair trial. It is very important that there should be no reporting, commentary or sharing of information online which could in any way prejudice these proceedings."
