CPS South East Area is led by Chief Crown Prosecutor Roger Coe-Salazar and Area Business Manager Julie Heron.
We have about 170 staff in Kent based in our offices in Maidstone and Canterbury. Our four Prosecution Teams cover the Magistrates' Courts in Dartford, Medway, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Canterbury, Thanet, Folkestone and Dover. We prosecute in Maidstone and Canterbury Crown Courts.
Last year our staff prosecuted over 21,000 cases in the magistrates' courts and over 2,000 cases in the crown courts in Kent.
