Training
We believe that personal and professional growth is the key to a happy and successful career. That is why we actively encourage people in the CPS to think about their future. Training is provided locally and nationally, and as with other government departments, the CPS is committed to the Investors in People programme.
We recognise the importance of an effective induction for all staff joining the service. All newly appointed staff will receive pre induction material before starting work with the CPS and a full induction programme.
CPS has a virtual prosecution college which provides a number of online learning programmes which can be accessed via the CPS Intranet. Modules that are currently available include equality and diversity and proceeds of crime.
Staff at CPS South Yorkshire have access to a rolling programme of training designed to further both their personal and professional development.
