Welcome to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) South Yorkshire website.

Our aim is to reduce crime and the fear of crime and to make South Yorkshire a safer place in which to live.

In order to do this effectively we work closely with our criminal justice partners including the Police, the Courts, the Probation Service, Prisons and Youth Offending Teams.

In this website we explain what we do and how we are striving to improve justice and put the needs of victims and witnesses at the forefront of our work.
