CPS Staff Raise £250 for Norfolk Park School

21/07/2006

Staff at CPS South Yorkshire have been stocking up on their holiday reading in order to raise money for new playground equipment for disabled children at Norfolk Park School.

Books were donated by staff and then sold in a book and bun event alongside home-made cakes. Staff were delighted to raise a total of £250.

Glenys Croston, Head Teacher at Norfolk Park School said: "Pupils at Norfolk Park School are among the most vulnerable in society.  We are delighted that staff at CPS decided to host this fundraising event on our behalf.  We are currently looking at what equipment we can buy and hope to have it in place by the start of the Autumn Term."
