The CPS South Yorkshire Area Management Team consists of Nigel Cowgill, Chief Crown Prosecutor, Christopher Day, Area Business Manager, Paul Brown, Head of the Crown Court Unit and Chris Hartley, Acting Head of the Magistrates' Court Unit.

Chief Crown Prosecutor

Nigel Cowgill is the Chief Crown Prosecutor for CPS South Yorkshire. Nigel has overall responsibility for the Area and reports directly to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Area Business Manager

The Area Business Manager for CPS South Yorkshire is Christopher Day. Chris is responsible for managing the business side of the organisation.

Acting Head of the Magistrates' Courts Unit

The Acting Head of the Magistrates' Court Unit at CPS South Yorkshire is Chris Hartley. Chris manages the team who handle magistrates court work across the county.

Head of the Crown Court Unit

Paul Brown is Head of the Crown Court Unit for CPS South Yorkshire. Paul manages the team responsible for handling cases in both Sheffield and Doncaster Crown Courts.
