Sustainable Development in the CPS
Introduction
The responsibility for Sustainable Development (SD) in the CPS lies with the Central Property Unit, part of the Finance Directorate. The CPS's SD Policy is available on this website and is in the process off being updated.
The CPS like all other government departments has signed up to the Sustainable Operations on the Government Estate targets (SOGE). Details can be found on the Sustainable Development website at Sustainable operations on the Government estate: targets.
The Solicitor General Edward Garnier QC MP represents the Law Officers Department (which includes the CPS) on Sustainable Development matters. More details are available on the Attorney General's office website.
We have also along with the other Law Officers Departments (LOD) developed a Joint LOD Sustainable Development Action plan (SDAP), which is available on this website.
