Note: The Board meeting scheduled for 22 September was postponed to October in anticipation of the announcement of 2010 Spending Review (SR 2010). Following its publication 21 October there was a single tabled item on the Board agenda.

Paul Staff presented a paper to the Board outlining the detail of the 2010 Spending Review.

Item2: AOB

Lord Brown review

Lord Brown is in the process of appointing the lead Non-executive Directors (NEDs)for the 16 largest government departments.

Gerard Lemos

The DPP and Chief Executive thanked Gerard Lemos for his contribution to the CPS during his five years as a NED. Gerard leaves the CPS to become the first chairman of the Consumer Financial Education Body.
