Grievance
This new policy provides a mechanism to resolve differences between employees or between employees and managers and is effective from 1st August 2007. It does not apply to grievances which relate to:
- Action proposed or action taken in regards to the disciplinary procedure
- Action proposed or taken under the managing poor performance procedure
- Pay and benefits that have been agreed through collective bargaining arrangements
- Whistle blowing
Additionally, it does not apply to grievances that relate to any other CPS procedure which has its own appeal mechanism.
