Legal Trainee Scheme
Trainee Solicitors - We are authorised by the Law Society to offer up to 70 training contracts. Trainee solicitors undertake one or more secondments to private practice, local authorities, magistrate's courts or the GLS.
Pupil Barristers - Full 12-month pupillages, authorised by the Bar Council, are offered in many of our offices. Pupils are recommended to take a month's secondment in chambers to gain experience of the independent Bar. Pupils have full rights of audience in the second six months of pupillage and will gain extensive experience as prosecutors in the magistrate's courts.
Recruitment - We currently advertise for legal trainees one year ahead of the start date in October. There are many stages of assessment including: application form; on-line reasoning tests, legal case study and interview.
