Sustainable Development in the CPS
The responsibility for Sustainable Development in the CPS lies with the Procurement & Estates Division, which is part of the Finance Directorate. The CPS's Sustainable Development Policy is available on the website.
The Solicitor General, Edward Garnier QC, represents the Law Officer’s Departments (which includes the CPS) on Sustainable Development matters. The Attorney General's office can be reached here.
The CPS, like all other Government departments, has signed up to the Greening Government Commitments (GGC). Details can be found at Defra.
We, along with the other LODs departments, are developing a GGC Planning Document to help us meet the requirement of the Greening Government Commitments. This document will be published once completed.
The CPS has published a Green ICT Policy and Action Plan.
