Community Engagement News

We meet with a wide range of community groups and individuals from across the North West to raise awareness of the role of the CPS, listen to community concerns and in particular explain how we prosecute Hate Crime and Violence Against Women and Girls. 

This work is an important part of building public confidence in the Criminal Justice System.  It helps us to have a better understanding of the barriers which deter people from reporting crime, so that we can work with our criminal justice partners to remove these barriers and improve our services to victims and witnesses.
