Careers and Jobs
Every day is different when you work for the Crown Prosecution Service which offers a variety of legal and non-legal careers.
This is an exciting time to join the CPS, a time when law and order is a high priority for both politicians and members of the public.

Work Experience
Typical comments from students who have completed placements this year include:
- "It has given me a closer look into criminal law and how the legal system works."
- "I would now consider doing Prosecution work."
- "I particularly enjoyed visiting the courts - it was interesting to see all the things I have learnt over the past year put into practice."
- "Found the work fascinating."
We offer a limited number of work experience placements each year but regret that it is not possible to accommodate every request.
To apply - Students who are still at school should contact their Careers Officer and ask for a letter to be written on their behalf. Students in further education can write direct. Letters should contain details of study and availability and should be addressed to The Secretariat Business Manager. Click here for our address.
