CPS scoops Legal Trainee Scheme award for the fourth year running
08/06/2007
The Crown Prosecution Service has received, for the fourth time, the award for "Best Recruiter and Trainer In-House and Public Sector" in the annual LawCareers.Net Training and Recruitment Awards.
Trainees and newly qualified solicitors have once again praised the quality of training the CPS Legal Trainee Scheme offers.
Training Principal Lesley Williams said: "I was delighted to accept this award for the fourth year, on behalf of everyone who works to ensure that the CPS Legal Trainee Scheme is the best in the field - including supervisors and our National Recruitment Business Centre staff.
"The award is voted for by the trainees themselves and this year we had a significant number of externally recruited trainees so it's great that they also appreciate the quality of the training we provide."
Nearly 3,000 trainee lawyers completed an online survey assessing their own experiences on LawCareers.Net.
Two hundred guests from 78 law firms attended the ceremony on June 6.
