CPS decision on Earls Court station death
25/04/2007
The Crown Prosecution has decided not to prosecute anyone for any offence arising out of the tragic death of Tu Quang Hoang Vu at Earls Court Underground station in November last year. Mr Vu's family have been informed of the decision and the reviewing lawyer has arranged to meet the family to personally explain the reasons behind the decision.
The CPS thoroughly reviewed all the evidence gathered by the British Transport Police during their investigation before reaching a decision. Those arrested in connection with the incident have been told that no further action will be taken against them based on grounds of insufficient evidence.
