CPS Statement - Joint Statement on Christopher Galley and Damian Green

A joint statement has been issued today by the Crown Prosecution Service and the Metropolitan Police Service relating to the extension of bail for Christopher Galley and Damian Green.
The statement is as follows: "The bail date for Christopher Galley and Damian Green has today (13/2/09) been extended from 17 February 2009 to 20 April 2009 because issues of Parliamentary Privilege raised by Damian Green have yet to be resolved.
"The CPS has considered all the material already submitted and intends to make a decision on whether to charge Christopher Galley and Damian Green as soon as reasonably practicable after receiving any further available evidence."
