Keir Starmer QC attended the 2009 National Black Crown Prosecutors Association (NBCPA) conference that was held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on 23rd October 2009.

The 2009 NBCPA conference was held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on 23rd October 2009. The theme of this year's conference was 'Reducing the fear of crime'. Keynote speakers included the Attorney General Baroness Scotland, and the Director of Public Prosecutions Keir Starmer.

In an effort to improve the content on CPS' corporate website 'soundbytes' have been included to give web visitors a better idea of the what the event was about and what was achieved.
