Two teenagers charged with racially aggravated criminal damage

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has authorised Merseyside Police to charge two teenagers with racially aggravated criminal damage after graffiti appeared hours after the death of a black 15-year-old boy in Fazakerley, Liverpool, on Saturday 15 November.

The cause of the boy's death is being investigated.

The comments were found near the boy's school, Maricourt Catholic High School in Maghull. The CPS has authorised Merseyside Police to charge 18-year-old James Coleman, from Buckfast Close, Bootle, and a 17-year-old youth from Bootle.

Both are due before Sefton Magistrates' Court today, Tuesday 18 November 2014.
