Reginald Traviss charging statement

Rebecca Mundy, lawyer in the CPS London Rape and Serious Sexual Offences Unit said: 

"I have authorised the Metropolitan Police to charge Reginald TRAVISS (dob: 12/02/1977) with two counts of rape.

"The alleged offences took place between 29 December 2011 and 1 January 2012.

"The decision was taken in accordance with the Code for Crown Prosecutors.

"The defendant will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on 17 July 2012."
