Witness Care Units
There are five witness care units in the East Midlands providing practical support and information for victims and witnesses.
Without the help of victims and witnesses it can be difficult for us to prosecute an offenders and bring them to justice.
The support our witness care units provide to victims and witness is crucial in achieving justice. They are joint ventures between the police and the CPS and they exist to help victims and witnesses through the different stages of a court case.
Witness care units can only deal with queries that are being dealt with by their local CPS office.
