Ken Caley: Chief Crown Prosecutor East of England

Ken Caley

Ken was appointed Group Chair and Chief Crown Prosecutor for Essex in 2007 and is now the Chief Crown Prosecutor for the East of England Area, based in Chelmsford, Essex.

Ken qualified as a solicitor in 1975 and worked in the Chief Prosecuting Solicitors Office in Nottinghamshire and then Warwickshire before joining the CPS at its inception in 1986.

Paula Abrahams: Deputy Chief Crown Prosecutor

Paula Abrahams

Paula was called to the Bar in 1987 and joined the Crown Prosecution Service in the same year as a newly qualified Lawyer. She originally started with the service in London and then moved onto the Essex office. She took up the post of CCP for Suffolk in 2007 and is now Deputy Chief Crown Prosecutor for the East of England Area.

Andrew Baxter: Deputy Chief Crown Prosecutor Andrew Baxter

Andrew took up the post of Chief Crown Prosecutor for Norfolk in 2009 and is now Deputy Chief Crown Prosecutor for the East of England Area.

He qualified as a solicitor in 1991, working in private practice as a criminal defence advocate before joining Norfolk in 1993.
