A burglar from Witham has been jailed for more than four years.

Ricky Ingram, 29, of Rickstones Road, was sentenced to four years and eight months imprisonment at Chelmsford Crown Court on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 after admitting five offences. 

Ingram had previously admitted committing a burglary in Mary Ruck Way, Black Notley on September 15, 2012 during which a laptop and a handbag were stolen.

He also admitted stealing a money bag containing £120 from a Hackney cab in Vicarage Avenue, White Notley on September 16, 2012 and an attempted burglary in the same street that same day. He also admitted driving without insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
