The Cambridgeshire office operates in the county of Cambridgeshire which covers an area of 304,357 hectares and has a population of approximately 742,200.

Since the changes to the EU borders there has been an influx of EU migrant workers, particularly to Peterborough, which has affected the constituents of the area demographics. This continues to be evident in the increased frequency in which interpreters are required in court.

There are five magistrates' courts within Cambridgeshire namely: - Cambridge, Ely, Huntingdon, Peterborough and Wisbech.

Cases from Cambridge, Ely and Wisbech are committed, or sent to Cambridge Crown Court.
Cases from Huntingdon and Peterborough are committed or sent to Peterborough Crown Court unless they are Class one offences which are committed or sent to Cambridge Crown Court.
Huntingdon trial cases are primarily listed at the new Huntingdon Crown Court, albeit other hearing types are mainly listed at Peterborough Crown Court and the listing arrangements continue to be administered from Peterborough.
