The key targets for CPS Direct are the timeliness of answering the calls (the level of service to the Police) and the quality of the decisions being made (decisions not changed when the case is returned to an Area).
CPS Direct is accountable to CPS HQ in the same way as the 42 geographic CPS Areas.
