CPS Direct welcomes new Chief Crown Prosecutor

Martin Goldman has been appointed Chief Crown Prosecutor for CPS Direct, the Crown Prosecution Service division set up to provide the Police with out of hours charging decisions.

Currently the Chief Crown Prosecutor for Cleveland, Mr Goldman assumes the role from 1st August. He replaces Barry Hughes who now moves to the role of CCP for Avon & Somerset.
