CPS launches Concurrent Jurisdiction consultation
The consultation process
The CPS has published interim guidelines to prosecutors on the handling of cases where the jurisdiction to prosecute is shared by prosecuting authorities here and overseas.
The guidelines have immediate effect, but are subject to review after a consultation period of three months, which concludes on 31 January 2013.

How to respond
If you wish to comment on the interim guidelines as part of the consultation process, please email the Central Fraud Group on or before 31 January 2013.
Confidential responses will be included in any statistical summary of numbers of comments received and views expressed. Submission from respondents may also be subject to release under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. If you have instructed us accordingly, we will ensure that your views are not attributed should they be released in this way.
