The role of the Human Resources (HR)Directorate is principally to aid the organisation in achieving its strategic business aims and objectives and to support the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) staff throughout the employment contract from initial recruitment, through career development and to eventual exit.

HR Advisors deliver customer focused expert advice across the full range of human resources functions, provide specialist advice to managers, maintain a good working relationship with Trade Unions and external agencies and provide support to respondents and witnesses during Employment Tribunals.

Senior Human Resources Advisor
Senior HR Advisors are responsible for the delivery of a customer focused, professional and tailored HR Advisory Service, within the context of the HR Service Plan. Each Senior HRA is responsible for developing, managing, supporting and setting the direction for a team of national field-based HR Advisors who support the delivery of the CPS Business objectives.
