There are opportunities to work in Communications with the Crown Prosecution Service across the country, both at CPS Headquarters in London and in the 13 regional Areas.
Press Officers
As a Press Officer you will be responsible for explaining and promoting the work of the CPS to the public through the media and to provide advice to CPS staff on media and presentational issues, general administrative assistance to the team, often acting as the first point of contact for the unit, dealing professionally and courteously with general enquiries and passing to the relevant person or department as and when necessary. You will also provide assistance to the team by performing a range of general administrative duties when required and build and maintain good working relationships with external agencies and other members of the Criminal Justice System to ensure the smooth operation of CPS business.
