Administrative Officers

As an Administrative Officer you will provide general administrative assistance to the team, often acting as the first point of contact for the unit, dealing professionally and courteously with general enquiries and passing to the relevant person or department as and when necessary. You will also provide assistance to the team by performing a range of general administrative duties when required, and build and maintain good working relationships with external agencies and other members of the Criminal Justice System, to ensure the smooth operation of CPS business.

Administrative Support Assistant

As an Administrative Support Assistant you will provide general administrative and/or basic case work assistance to the team. You will often act as the first point of contact for the unit, dealing professionally and courteously with general enquiries and passing to the relevant person or department as and when necessary.

Typists

As a Typist you will provide support to the Areas / HQ Directorates by providing an efficient and high quality typing service in accordance with all court deadlines and National Guidelines. You will be expected to type standard and non-standard letters, memos and minutes using copy/audio sources. You may also need to type committals/briefs using Crown Court Case Preparation Packages by set down action dates, type confidential correspondence, produce and edit transcripts of interviews and prepare transfers, prepare Custody Time Limits proforma and prepare the List of Witnesses to Attend Court.
