Location

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) is a national organisation with offices across the whole of England and Wales.

In addition to the 13 geographical areas there is also CPS London and CPS Direct. CPS Direct is a virtual CPS Area. Prosecutors work from home offices to make charging decisions on cases referred to the CPS outside the normal 9am to 5pm working hours in the working week, and provide a 24-hour service throughout public holidays and weekends.
