Please note:

  • Some sections of the application form have word limits that must be observed.
  • Paper submissions are not acceptable, unless prior approval is given.
  • Secure email addresses, such as the CJSM network (www.cjsm.net), are desirable for the application process, although not essential. All successful applicants will be expected to sign-up to use secure email within two months of appointment.
  • Applicants must carefully consider which Panel and level to apply for in light of their assessment of their own ability and experience, in the context of the limited number of places available and the number of potential applicants for each Panel and level.

Completed application forms together with references must be submitted to:Advocate.Panels@CPS.gsi.gov.uk

The deadline for submission of applications is 4pm on Wednesday 31 August 2011.

Progress reports and developments in relation to this exercise will be announced on the CPS website www.cps.gsi.gov.uk. Applicants are advised to monitor the website.
